Olive & Cilantro Pesto Dip

Olives are incredibly nutritious fruit that is loaded with healthy monounsaturated fat, vitamin E, and anti-inflammatory compounds. They’re tart yet sweet flavor goes splendidly with the fresh crispness of cilantro and green onions. Have your kids help you whip up this easy, healthy, and delicious dip.  

Olive & Cilantro Pesto Dip Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pitted black olives
  • 1 handful cilantro
  • 1 green onion
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil

Instructions for parents/teachers:

Assist in setting up of blender or food processor.

Instructions for kids:

Place all ingredients in food processor or blender, and puree until smooth. Serve with sliced veggies.
