Students Returning to School

Throughout the pandemic, we have been at schools supporting our kids and their families through recipe kit distribution. Students have started returning to school and it has been grape to see them! We are working with our afterschool and principal partners to bring food literacy classes back on line as each school is ready. Until then we’ll keep hosting virtual classes and weekly recipe demos.

We’ll continue distribution of our Veggie STEM Kits at a minimum of 2 schools per week. More than 100 kids a week receive fresh veggies and ingredients to make a healthy meal for four. On Monday, a mom at Leataata Floyd Elementary came with her daughter, who was excited for a new recipe this month. She said, “My daughter and I made rainbow soup and spaghetti with greens. We really liked it!”
