Kids Chocolate Orange Valentine Recipe

Enjoy this fun, interactive Valentine recipe with your kids. Everyone deserves a little chocolate on Valentine’s Day, and kids love to play with their food! With adult supervision, kids can help with every step of this easy recipe. They can melt the chocolate in the microwave, peel the orange, and of course, dip their orange slices into the gooey melted chocolate and decorate them with sprinkles.

Kids Chocolate Orange Valentine Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon milk
  • 1 orange, peeled and sectioned
  • 1 Tablespoon colored sprinkles

Instructions:

Add chocolate and milk to a microwave proof bowl. Microwave on half power for 20-30 seconds. Stir. Repeat as needed.
Dip peeled orange sections into the chocolate and lay on wax paper. Sprinkle the chocolate-dipped end of the orange with colored sprinkles. Allow to cool for 5 minutes.

Serves: 2-4 for a light, fun dessert.
