Grapefruit Mint Lemongrass Refresher

Grapefruit is grown year-round in different parts of the country. This refresher is a grape way to enjoy grapefruit juice with some fresh herbs! It is easy to make with kids, and its bright citrus taste with cooling mint is a crowd-pleaser. 

Grapefruit Mint Lemongrass Refresher Recipe

yield: 6 short mason jars 

Ingredients:

2 cups Tropical Sunrise Tea

1/2 cup freshly squeezed grapefruit juice

1/4 cup mint & lemongrass simple syrup, mixed

 

Instructions for Adults:

Assist with supervision of measuring, safe knife skills, and safe use of stovetop.

 

Instructions for Kids: 

First, make a batch of Tropical Sunrise Tea:

Heat water, add loose tea, and steep for 5 minutes. Strain herbs and set aside to cool.

To make Grapefruit Mint Lemongrass Refresher:

In a large pitcher, mix 2 cups Tropical Sunrise Tea with 1/2 grapefruit juice and 1/4 cup mint & lemongrass simple syrup. 

Serve in short mason jars with ice. Garnish with mint leaves and grapefruit wedge.
