Yzabelle Dela Cruz Volunteer & Program Coordinator
With several years of work experience in the food industry and higher education, Yzabelle has seen many facets of our food system. She is a passionate nutrition and education advocate and believes that early food education can change the health of entire communities.
In 2016, Yzabelle worked as a student coordinator at California State University, Sacramento and was able to empower and educate her team. Yzabelle joined the Food Literacy Center team in August 2017 as the Volunteer & Program Coordinator. She recruits, trains, and manages volunteers, as well as assists with event planning and maintains community partnerships.
Yzabelle holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Family & Consumer Science with a concentration in Nutrition & Food from California State University, Sacramento.
