Kids will learn that buying ingredients to make meals at home can
be less expensive and healthier than eating out. When you cook
for yourself, you know what is in your food and have more control
over what goes in it.
Food Literacy Center is a Sacramento-based nonprofit that
inspires kids to eat their vegetables and protect their health
through hands-on cooking and nutrition classes. Support our work
with elementary students in low-income schools with the highest
risk of diet-related disease.
