Heritage Foods

Heritage foods are derived from rare and endangered breeds of livestock and crops. Heritage farmers use sustainable methods of production that save these animals and crops from extinction and promote genetic diversity.  Examples of heritage livestock include Mulefoot pigs, Gulf Coast sheep, Delaware chickens and Pilgrim Geese. Heritage produce comes in a variety of colors, sizes and flavor, ensuring a healthy combination of vitamins and minerals.
