Farm-To-Table (or Farm-to-Fork)

Farm-to-table refers to a movement that involves the production and delivery of local food to local consumers. This is different from the process for packaged foods, which often is farm-to-truck-to-factory-to-truck-to-supermarket-to-table. Farm-to-table is associated with organic farming, sustainable agriculture, urban agriculture, community plots, community supported agriculture, farmers’ markets, and gardening.
