The Sacramento Food Film Festival has soul! ‘Soul of a Banquet’ chronicles the journey of Cecilia Chiang who is credited with introducing Americans to authentic Chinese cuisine. Frank Fat’s Executive Chef Mike Lim will create an authentic Chinese family-style dinner inspired by the documentary, and prepared with help from a few of Food Literacy Center’s kid chefs.
VIPea Experience: VIPea ticket holders will have the opportunity to make Yu Kwok, an authentic Chinese dumpling, and dumpling dipping sauce during a cooking class with Executive Chef Mike Lim prior to the dinner. Guests will also receive a free cocktail, and leave with a gift bag provided by Frank Fat’s.
