Food Day at Sacramento State — Oct 22 and 24

Celebrate the 3rd Annual Food Day at Sac State by attending a film viewing of ‘A Place at the Table’ at Hinde Auditorium, Student Union (October 22nd, 9 – 11 am), as well as a plethora of food literacy activities and panel discussions on Oct 24, beginning at 9 a.m. All events are open and free to the public.

Amber Stott will be in a panel discussion on Food education, and the role of the school food environment at the Redwood room in the Student Union  from 5:30 to 7 p.m. along with Jennifer LaBarre (Food Nutrition Director, Oakland Unified), Kirk Bergstrom (Executive Director, Nourish), and Gail Feenstra (Food Systems Analyst, Sustainable Agricultural Research & Education Program at UC Davis).
