There will be a screening of the movie Symphony of the Soil and a vegan potluck at California State Grange, 3830 U Street, on Sunday, May 12, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The event is free but donations are accepted. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., the potluck will begin at 6 p.m., and the movie will follow at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend the potluck, the film screening, or both.

Potluck attendees are advised to bring a vegan (no meat/fish/poultry, eggs or diary) dish to feed at least six; their own plates, bowls, cups and utensils; and a list of ingredients. For a list of recipes, visit http://fatfreevegan.com/.
