Megan Riggs is homegrown right here in America’s Farm to Fork Capitol. She is a believer in sunshine, fresh air and the power of produce! Currently, Megan serves as the community coordinator for Raley’s. The family-owned business has a vision to infuse life with health and happiness by changing the way the world eats, one plate at a time. They believe in creating the next generation of healthy eaters by funding programs which support food literacy, wellness education, land conservation, and ag technology and innovations. It’s about growing healthy communities.
Prior to her time at Raley’s, Megan worked in collegiate athletics and fashion. After spending a few years living in America’s heartland and even at the tippy top of the Rockies, Megan returned to her roots to be closer to family. A graduate of Sacramento State, Megan has her B.S. in Kinesiology and was a four-year member of the rowing team. Outside of work, you can find Megan running the beautiful trails around Folsom Lake, adventuring with her friends and occasionally indulging in a Real Housewives marathon. Her top three favorite vegetables are asparagus, yams and broccolini.
