Mai Err joined Food Literacy Corps in 2017 to serve the community
of her hometown in Sacramento. She is passionate about working
with kids and providing social equity through the lens of
community service. Food Literacy Center provides the opportunity
for her to share knowledge of nutrition and health with the
As the Program & Volunteer Coordinator, Mai Err teaches in food
literacy classes and cultivates volunteer relationships. She
works with school partners, local organizations, and Sacramento
colleges to bridge community members with food literacy programs.
Mai Err graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz
with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.
