​Jesse Crowder believes the health and wellness of Sacramento’s youth is our top priority, and is a strong believer in the power of education. He hopes to play a part in the growing movement to empower people with better food choices and awareness.

Jesse joined Food Literacy Center in June 2017. After operating his own business for 10 years in New York City, Jesse sold his company and moved back to his hometown of Sacramento. In his role as Operations Specialist, Jesse is responsible for day-to-day accounting & finance support, driving office operations, and offers logistical support to the program team to ensure compliance.

Jesse holds a bachelor’s degree in Cinematic Arts, Critical Studies from USC, and recently completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program designed to help entrepreneurs create jobs and​ ​​drive economic​ ​​growth.
