Annelies Zijderveld is the author of Steeped: Recipes Infused with Tea cookbook, selected as one of the LA Times favorite cookbooks of 2015. She is a cooking teacher, food writer and creator of the literary food blog, the food poet, selected by Alimentum Journal as one of their favorite food blogs. Her passion for working with good food companies started during her 8 years heading up marketing at a tea company in northern California and extended into working as an online community manager for a natural foods company in San Francisco. She runs a boutique content marketing consulting company, Citron Presse Creative, and recently served as chair of the digital media section for the International Association of Culinary Professionals, where she was selected as the 2017 member of the year. Her writing and photography have been published in Paste Magazine, Gluten-Free & More magazine, the Kitchn, allrecipes magazine, Edible Sacramento, and others. She holds an MFA in poetry from New England College and lives in Oakland with her husband and two cats.
