What is your educational background?
I graduated from University of California, Davis in 2017 will a Bachelor of Arts in Native American Studies and Bachelor of Science in Psychology (emphasis in math).

In which schools are you in currently serving?
Bret Harte, Leataata Floyd, John Still and John Sloat Elementary schools.

Why did you choose to do a year of AmeriCorps service?
Food is a way to connect with people around the world. Teaching kids basic cooking skills can motivate them to experiment and try new things.

Favorite moment in the classroom so far?
When kids ask for an extra serving of healthy food.
