Calling all restaurants in Sacramento!

We invite all local restaurants to add a “Food Literacy Sandwich” to your menus to help raise awareness about our educational campaign.

Create your own “Food Literacy Sandwich” and add it to your menu during the week of September 2—8, 2012. Or, just rename an existing sandwich.

Your sandwich should reflect the definition of food literacy: Understanding the impact of your food choices on your health, the environment, and our community.

To express our appreciation for your participation in this campaign, you can expect the following:

• Your restaurant name featured on California Food Literacy Center website.
• Your restaurant name given a shout out on California Food Literacy Center’s social media.
• Press outreach directing media to view our list of participating restaurants.
