Join us on Thursday, Feb 6, at 5:30 to 8 p.m. for a free food literacy event at Mayahuel Restaurant & Bar in downtown Sacramento.

Every month, Eric Ratinoff’s #Network4Cause highlights a charity partner achieving outstanding successes in the Sacramento community. California Food Literacy Center is selected to be February’s featured charity because we inspire kids to eat their vegetables through fun cooking and nutrition classes.

The free event will feature:

• Food literacy trivia with food prizes.
• A sneak preview from one of the movies from March’s Food Film Festival.
• A chance to have your photo taken as a giant vegetable.
• Delicious appetizers and small bites.

A percentage of drink sales will go towards benefiting California Food Literacy. Donations will also be taken at the door.
