Food Literacy Fun at California State Fair
July 2nd, 2013

The California State Fair is on July 12-28, and we’re excited to be participating in the Dirt to Dish cooking demonstrations held at The Farm! We’ll be showing everyone how easy it is to make quick, delicious meals with seasonal vegetables.

During his demo, Chef Paul Poore, our Food Literacy Advocate, will be surprised with a mystery produce (“Chopped” style) and will create a few simple dishes on the spot. Everett and Liza will also be doing cooking demos, and Amber will work with Aidan Hennessey, a young chef-in-the-making.
