Exclusive screening of Fed Up, the food documentary sweeping the country!

From executive producers Katie Couric & Laurie David, the film explains how the rate of obesity has skyrocketed since the U.S. government issued its first dietary guidelines 30 years ago, with a link to added sugars in our food.

This one-time exclusive screening will be at Tower Theater on Thursday, June 19 at 7:00pm. This film is not being shown anywhere else in the Sacramento region.

Panel discussion immediately following film with Assemblymember Roger Dickinson, Amber Stott, executive director of Food Literacy Center, and Dr. Lynn Hanna, CSUS assistant professor of nutrition. Moderator: Food Literacy Genius & Food Writer Matthew Blackburn.
